Goldthorne Studio is the custom woodworking and furniture studio owned and operated by Trey Thorne. We provide custom furniture to the greater Milwaukee, WI area.

The Craftsman

I began woodworking after taking a class to build an end table while I lived in Colorado. From that moment on, I've been hooked. My passions led me to learn traditional methods, and over the years I built my shop to build furniture for others.

Our mission at Goldthorne Studio is to provide high quality, custom furniture that is built with local materials, and intended to last. We leverage both traditional and modern construction techniques to build furniture that is unique, durable, and can be repaired - which is crucial to longevity in wooden products.

The Work

Every piece is designed and built by hand in our studio. We work mostly with domestic hardwoods, but we are happy to build with materials that match your vision. Whether it's a one-of-a-kind dining table, custom cabinetry, or a simple shelf, we treat each project with the same attention to detail.

Service Area

We're based in the Milwaukee area and serve clients throughout southeastern Wisconsin, including Wauwatosa, Shorewood, Brookfield, and the greater Milwaukee region.
